It is not only the modules themselves, but also the completely new approach to the subject of photovoltaics made possible with this technology that increasingly draws architects' attention to CIS modules.

In the past, the photovoltaic modules, which were often retrofitted to the building along with the necessary cables and inverters, were usually planned and installed by electricians. The future challenge for photovoltaics is, however, to integrate the photovoltaic modules into the roof or façade of the building, which makes it more a task for an architect.
